The U.S. Critical and Emerging Technologies (CET) list, maintained by the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), identifies technology areas crucial to national security and economic growth.
The CET list is divided into key technology areas. The primary subfields and related analytical questions can be broken down into subcategories.
A partial list of Critical and Emerging Technologies:
- Advanced Manufacturing
- Artificial Intelligence
- Highly Automated, Autonomous, and Uncrewed Systems (UxS), and Robotics
- Quantum Information and Enabling Technologies
