• Complete RCR – Faculty and Senior Personnel Responsible Conduct of Research in CITI.
• Required prior to award activation (or when added to an existing award).

How to access CITI Training:

• Follow the CITI login and enrollment instructions
• Must log into CITI using your ASURITE
• My Course > View Courses > Add a Course
• Select “Responsible Conduct of Research”
• Select “RCR – Faculty and Senior Personnel Responsible Conduct of Research”

Compliance hold notice:

ERA will place a HOLD on new awards and modifications until RCR training is complete

Required training:

1. Complete RCR – Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Researcher Responsible Conduct of Research in CITI within 60 days of employment on a sponsored project
2. Attend an RCR Workshop within 12 months of employment on a sponsored project
3. Complete ongoing PI-led training in the responsible and ethical conduct of research (training plan likely developed within the funding proposal). PIs must maintain documentation of training activities and make it available for inspection upon request (sample tracking form)
