Arizona State University (ASU) is committed to the highest standards of ethical conduct. All employees must comply with university policies, ABOR Policy 5-301: Code of Conduct, ABOR Policy 5-303: Prohibited Conduct, as well as federal and state laws.
The Knowledge Enterprise, in partnership with other administrative units, has developed the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Program, which describes policies governing the ethical conduct expected of all ASU employees and provides:
- The ASU Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Manual summarizing key policies and oversight areas.
- Training resources offered through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI).
Training requirements
- Required for employees in units engaged in federal contracts over $5 million (e.g., Research Compliance, Research Operations, Financial Services, HR, Purchasing).
- Training includes:
- Review of the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Manual.
- Online CITI training with a short comprehension test.
- Completion is documented automatically for compliance.
How to complete yraining
- Log in to CITI and follow the enrollment instructions.
- Select “Code of Ethical Business Conduct.”
- Complete the module and test.
