Responsible Conduct of Research Program

The Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Program provides training in the responsible and ethical conduct of research, establishing professional standards for research practice and preparing the next generation of scientists and scholars.

RCR training is offered asynchronously through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) (for all ASU personnel) and workshops (for graduate students and postdoctoral researchers).

RCR training is required for:

  • All ASU students and postdoctoral researchers supported by sponsored projects
  • All NSF and USDA NIFA investigators
