• Use of Fishes in Research (2014) – Guidelines developed and endorsed by The American Fisheries Society, American Institute of Fisheries Research Biologist, and American Society of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists for the use of fishes in research.

• American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Guidelines for the Euthanasia of Animals (2020) – Recommendations for veterinary professionals on the euthanasia of animals.
